Acumen is a Windows application whereas it requires no backend database installation.

* Per concurrent Acumen instance and in addition to any memory needed for the operating system and other applications that may run in parallel with Acumen.
If the operating system is a 64-bit version, then Acumen Suite will take advantage of the extended address space and therefore we recommend adding additional memory to improve performance.
Multi-Threading
There is no option in Acumen to control multi-threading.
Acumen tries to use as many CPUs as the computer has available when performing certain calculations (running Diagnostics, Risk Analysis, and so on).
