CMYA 2019 Proves Project Winners Use Powerproject for Construction Planning
Elecosoft has been a keen supporter of the Chartered Institute of Building’s Construction Manager of the Year Awards (CMYAs) for several years.
It is always an excellent occasion to recognise and celebrate construction planning excellence and project management achievement.
As sponsor of the Higher Education award Elecosoft is pleased to present the Gold award in that category to our customer Rob Cooper of Laing O’Rourke.
Rob was honoured for his precision management of the incredible new Physics facility at the Beecroft Building in Oxford.
“We had a special reason to celebrate this year. We were delighted to find that every single one of the Gold Award winners for 2019 used our Powerproject software.”
That includes the overall winner Joseph McNeil of Sir Robert McAlpine for the refurbishment of the landmark Plaza shopping centre in London’s Oxford Street.
Since that glittering awards ceremony in September, Elecosoft has spent time speaking to many of the winners at length, to find out more about how Powerproject (formerly known as Asta Powerproject) supports award-calibre construction.
“In the next few weeks we will be able to tell you some of the amazing behind-the-project stories.”
They have learned howw Powerproject (helped CMYA winners overcome some incredible planning challenges, delays — and even one potentially catastrophic fire — to finish their projects, delight their clients, and bring pride to their employers.
